We were asked to carry out an initial inspection to a 12m flagpole located on the roof of the main building. The pole was in a structurally sound condition, however due to poor installation its support collars and tabernacle were not fit for the application intended. As a result, this may have caused damage to the flagpole and structural collapse. We supplied and fitted a new collar, refurbished the supporting tabernacle, and fitted a new lightening conductor.
